I am a second year as a science teacher in an Inner London secondary school. When I was at school, science was always a subject that I could do, but as I progressed through my studies my love for the subject grew. I knew that working as 'scientist' was not for me, but I wanted a way to express how interesting the subject was. Now being a teacher, I want to inspire that love to the students that I teach and show them that Science is not as difficult as it seems.
My ideal teaching style is very student-centered and I definitely believe that the teacher should be the facilitator. But I am new to the profession, so I know that I still have a lot to learn when it comes to executing this belief. So follow me on this journey to developing myself as a science teacher.
